K-Move Program
The K-Move Program is an initiative established by the Korean government, specifically HRD Korea, with the objective of fostering global mobility and bolstering the skills and competitiveness of Korean youth within the international employment landscape. This program offers an array of resources and support to Korean students and young adults who aspire to pursue educational and professional opportunities abroad. We have been actively engaged in the Program since 2016, consistently contributing to its endeavors by providing Spanish language courses, job training programs, and facilitating professional placements primarily in Mexico and various countries within Latin America. To date, our participation has benefitted over 300 students, empowering them to thrive in these international environments.
Study Abroad Support
The K-Move Program extends comprehensive support to Korean students aspiring to pursue their studies abroad. Through collaborations with partner organizations, the program facilitates access to diverse study opportunities, scholarships, and academic programs in various countries. As part of our commitment to assisting students in their international endeavors, we have provided language courses in Spanish and English, empowering participants to enhance their linguistic proficiency. Additionally, we have conducted job training sessions covering a wide range of subjects, including laws and regulations, production and quality management methods, logistics, supply chain management, and more. These initiatives are aimed at equipping students with essential knowledge and skills necessary for their academic and professional growth.
Career Development
With a strong emphasis on facilitating career development for Korean students and young adults, the Program prioritizes the establishment of successful professional trajectories overseas. As part of this endeavor, the Program offers an array of resources and support to aid participants in their job search endeavors. These include providing valuable insights into essential qualifications sought by employers, information on international job markets, current employment trends, and opportunities for networking. As a long-standing partner of the program, we have played an instrumental role in equipping participants with vital career guidance. Our contributions have encompassed offering career counseling services and conducting workshops tailored to enhancing job-seeking skills and interview preparation. These initiatives are aimed at bolstering participants' confidence and equipping them with the necessary tools to excel in their pursuit of international employment opportunities.
Networking and Events
As part of our comprehensive approach, we organize a range of engaging cultural events aimed at fostering local networking and facilitating adaptation. These events include parties and K-pop noraebang, historical site visits, job fairs, seminars, and various gatherings that serve as platforms for connecting Korean students and young professionals with local individuals, professionals, families, and international companies. By participating in these events, individuals have the opportunity to expand their personal and professional networks, forging connections that prove invaluable in their endeavors abroad. Additionally, these events offer participants insights into the local culture and job markets, enabling them to gain a deeper understanding of the environment in which they seek to establish their careers.
